Tomahawk….Naturally! is not just a slogan—it’s a way of relaxing and enjoying the natural resources in the area. While visiting Tomahawk this fall, enjoy nature’s magnificent autumn colors and “Leaf Your Worries Behind”.

Fall brings warm days and cool refreshing nights. Fishing is at its best in the fall with more than 15 lakes and flowages. Take a boat ride and see the magic of the fall colors reflecting off the sparkling water.

Fall in Tomahawk is glorious and what better way to view the magnificent colors than on one of the nature trails where you can hike, bicycle or even ride horseback. The parks offer virgin timbers, boat landings, tennis courts, fishing piers, horseshoe pits, a veterans’ memorial, an activity center, public beaches and two historical museums where you’ll marvel at the displays. Visit during the Annual Riverside Rendezvous Brat Fry and Bon Fire, held on the second Thursday following Labor Day in September.

Experience a romantic sunset dinner with live music while drifting quietly past the wild shoreline of the Willow Flowage during a Wilderness Cruise. Fall is the most beautiful and relaxing time to dine on the water. Try the new Willow Dam Band Cruise on Fridays with live music and dancing, or take a sightseeing or brunch cruise.

Work on your golf swing at one of two great golf courses. If you are looking for a fun indoor activity, Tomahawk Bowl not only has the lanes, but “the best burgers in town”.

Find a variety of restaurants and supper clubs to fill your hunger. Whether you prefer resorts, cottages, cabins, bed and breakfasts, or hotels, you will find clean and reasonably priced options in Tomahawk. Complete your visit with a trip to the retail shops.

One visit to Tomahawk ensures a return visit!
